An Airbnb Cabin Remodel in the North Georgia Mountains

Scroll any cabin listing site for the North Georgia mountains and the photos start to repeat: a hot tub, a fire pit, a deck pointed at some trees. The owners of this Airbnb wanted a property guests would mention by name in reviews, so they put together a real team for the remodel: a general contractor, a design team, and Double R Mountain Maintenance doing the work on the ground.

A putting green where the dirt pad was

The backyard started as a bare graded pad behind a new wood fence, and by the end of the job that same footprint held a full putting green: turf, cups, flags, with a fire pit and seating a few steps away and a mountain view past the fence line. Guests walk out the lower level and putt.

Paint first, then the wallpaper move

Inside, we handled the interior painting: clean, bright walls through the remodeled spaces, the kind of blank canvas a design team needs before the furniture and styling go in. The game room got the standout treatment: a patterned wallpaper accent wall behind the games table, warm against the black ceiling. What the guests actually see

Staged and photographed, the property reads as one coherent thing: a live-edge bar riding the deck railing, big window walls in the bedrooms, a living room built around the fireplace and the view. That coherence is the payoff of a remodel where the contractor, the designers, and the maintenance crew are pulling in the same direction.
