Every rental cabin in the North Georgia mountains has a deck and a view. The ones that get rebooked have a room like this. At this Airbnb in Morganton, the owners wanted the lower level turned into a proper game room, and we handled the conversion work that made it happen.
From bare walls to the room guests remember
The space started as an unfinished lower level: poured concrete walls, a corrugated metal ceiling, and not much else. We hung a patterned wallpaper accent wall and took care of the paint and finish work throughout, keeping the concrete and metal where they add character and finishing the surfaces where it counts.
From there the owners styled it into a full guest arcade: three arcade cabinets, a combination foosball and ping pong table, a dartboard, a wall-mounted TV on the knotty pine feature wall, and a neon sign over the wallpaper we installed. The mix works because the finishes underneath it work.
